- Current operating systems like NetBSD run in full 32-bit modes on 386+.

- But it's cheaper and available everywhere. Clock speeds up to 166 MHz.

- I have a p90 on loan. It runs 20 times as fast as my A3000 (both running
- NetBSD 1.1). Sure, a 68060 might be almost as fast, but where can I get
- a 68060 Amiga with 1-gig disk, 15" monitor, 16 MB RAM etc. for less than
- $2000?

- I have been an Amiga fanatic for almost 10 years, but I really can't see
- why I would buy new Amigas when I can get much faster pc hardware for
- less money. Sure, I'm talking about UNIX systems here, but the fact that
- windoze exists doesn't mean that the pc _hardware_ still is as bad as it
- used to be.
